I commented on Twitter but I'll repeat and expound here. Cousins has quietly been one of the best QBs in the league the past two years and is a lock for another 4250+ yard, 28-30 TD season this year. With Jackson & Garcon both leaving this offseason and the top returning WR being a slot/speed runner in Crowder, Pryor joins the Skins as their clear WR1. Reed will earn his share of targets at the TE spot, especially in the red zone, but Pryor will be the primary target between the 20's & inside the 5 on fades. The Skins also lack a respectable running game to start the year so they will look to air it out early and often. Finally, they don't project to be a good team at all this year and will give up a ton of points with their bad defense. That means from a game flow perspective they will be playing from behind late in plenty of games all year long and that usually translates into added targets for the top WR on a team like that. When you look at what Pryor did without a consistent QB last year in Cleveland, it is hard to see him doing anything but breaking out this year as the top WR on his team with a very good QB getting him the ball.

When it comes to Adams, I like him as well this year but not at the level of Pryor. Adams burst onto the scene last year after he was thrust into the WR1 role due to injuries to Jordy & regression + injuries from Cobb. With Montgomery serving as Adams' biggest threat for snaps the past couple years beginning the year at RB Adams should easily fall right into the WR2 spot in GB. I expect Adams to get plenty of targets between the 20's but what will hurt his value is that he is the 3rd or 4th red zone option for Rodgers, at best this year. He also can't come close to matching the chemistry between Rodgers and Jordy with Jordy serving as both the big play WR & crunch time top target. Adams will assume a role resembling more of a possession, stick to stick WR for that offense rather than the big play threat he was last year with Jordy on the shelf. In addition to not even being the top guy at his position on the team, GB added Martellus Bennett at TE & they didn't do so because they liked his blocking. Bennett will eat deep into Adams' targets this year as will Montgomery from the backfield and they will both move ahead of him as red zone priorities.

So, in the end you have a clear WR1 on a bad team with a QB that has proven to reliably expect 4000+ yards & 25+ TD from each of the past 2 seasons against a guy who is the clear WR2 on a very good team, and has to deal with touch competition from a new addition to the offense. I can easily see Pryor going 90+ Rec., 1400+ yards, and 10-12 TD this year and that would put him close to being a top 5 WR. With Adams I see him having plus volume in catches (possibly over 100 this year) but his yards will be low for that number and he won't come close to breaking 10 TD for the year. Pryor gives you elite production at a 4th round price whereas Adams will probably play out the year as a reliable WR3, bordering on WR2 possibly. If you're in a PPR league then Pryor remains the same but Adams jumps up to a mid-level WR2 at a good value. In the end it isn't much of a choice. Go with Pryor.
